Designer Sofas Direct is based in Wales, we are a Family run business that has been manufacturing sofas for 40 years.
Our furniture is handmade in our own Factory Mill - this is vital for the provenance of what we produce, giving us control over quality, value, choice and excellence.
When we opened the doors of our factory to the public, we decided we would offer our customers three essential things:-

Where do we deliver?
We only deliver to the South Wales postcodes of SA, CF and NP.
If you live outside of these postcodes then please contact us via email or call 01656 725 525 to discuss collection or other possible delivery options.
How long will I have to wait for my furniture?
Our sofas and chairs are handmade to order and may take up to 6 weeks or more to manufacture. We undertake to deliver your completed furniture to you as soon as is convenient after it has been cleared by our quality control team.
Is there a delivery charge?
Yes... we charge a minimal delivery charge to help us with carriage costs. For this minimal charge our delivery team will not only deliver your quality made-to-order furniture into your home, but will also place in to the room of your choosing and unwrap and remove the packaging before ensuring you are 100% happy that all has arrived in perfect condition.
Do you hold ‘stock’ items?
Special clearance items, ex-display or showroom items are occasionally available from stock, enabling much quicker delivery times.

Our Materials
Only Quality Fabrics & Materials are used from highly reputable companies such as, Futura, Panaz, Ross and Warwick.
The Fillings are supplied by one of the largest and best known foam manufacturers in the country and meet all the latest fire regulations.
Leather Hides are supplied by two of the best leather suppliers around. Coming direct from Italy the leathers are inspected and carefully selected for our needs.
They are cut by hand by our skilfully trained leather cutters.
All of our frames are produced using sustainably sourced timber.
